Register to Vote!

let your voice be heard!

Hey HOT Squad!

You've got big opinions. You chose where you work, what you eat, and the house you live in. You pick the car you drive, the hairstyle, and the music you listen to... These are all choices you make. And if you don't vote this election season, you're letting someone else choose for you.

Voting is HOT! And the good news is, if you're over 18 and you're not registered to vote yet, there's still time to make it happen. Here are the basic requirements:

  • You have to be a US citizen
  • You have to be 18 years old by Election Day (November 8th)
  • You have to have a Washington address by October 9th
  • If you've been convicted of a felony, you have to not be in jail or community custody
  • You must not currently judged incompetent by a court
  • You must not claim the right to vote in another state

Got those covered? Good!

Online voting registration closed on October 10th, but you can always do it in person! Here's how in three easy steps:

  1. Get the voter registration form! You can grab the form in person from your County Election Office, or other state agencies (like the Department of Licensing).
  2. Fill out your form! It'll only take a few minutes.
  3. Return the form! Take your completed form back to your County Election Office by close of business on October 31st (click here to get the exact closing time for each office).

Hey HOT Squad! It's time to make your voice heard!

We'll see you at the polls!
