Want To See A 66-pound Hot Dog? [PICS]

July 3, 2019

The most electric place to be on 4th of July is Coney Island, New York.  There’s a great boardwalk, beach, amusement park and, of course, the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.  The big contest is sponsored by Nathan’s but the original hot dog was Feltman’s of Coney Island.

To celebrate their 152nd anniversary, Feltman’s set out to secure the Guinness World Record for Largest Hot Dog.  The final measurements of their monstrous creation were 5 feet long, 1 foot wide and the beast weighed in at 66 pounds.

The giant tube of meat wasn’t designed to be a paper weight.  They grilled that sucker and served it up at a block party for $10/slice.  Happy 4th of July, everybody!

Come to @ulyssesnyc at 3pm today to witness as taste the #worldslargesthotdog #guinnessworldrecord #feltmans #hotdog #veteranowned #getheadstrong FELTMANSOFCONEYISLAND.COM
