The summer concert season is pretty much a wrap but there are still a bunch of great shows to look forward to before we kiss 2018 goodbye.  There’s something here for everyone – not just old school hip hop heads.  After all, HOT 103-7 isn’t just your home for 100% throwbacks.  HOT 103-7 is the RHYTHM of Seattle!  Here are the 5 shows that I’m most excited for:

Justin Timberlake @ Tacoma Dome – November 12th and 13th

I can’t tell you how much appreciate how much I appreciate Justin Timberlake.  He is truly a living legend.  Not a lot of dudes make it out alive when they branch off from a successful boyband but he’s made a career out of proving doubters wrong.  Even with that said, I never felt like I HAVE to make it a point to see a Justin Timberlake concert.  That is, until, I ran out of ish to watch on Netflix and fired up “Justin Timberlake and The Tennessee Kids.”  It’s must-watch.  Dude is an incredible performer.  I’ll definitely be at one, if not both of these shows at the T-Dome.

Drake w/ Migos @ Tacoma Dome – November 1st

Migos were here not too long ago with Snoop Dogg but I had to work a station event that night so I missed up.  Luckily they’ll be making another appearance in the PNW on November 1st with freakin’ Drake!  Drizzy and Migos have been teaming up since he hopped on the “Versace” remix in 2013 and they’re still collaborating 5 years later.  Should be one of the better “current” hip hop shows.

Sir Mix-A-Lot @ Clearwater Casino Resort – October 25th

I swear I’m not putting this show on my list because Mix is a co-worker and I happen to be co-hosting the event.  Mix-A-Lot is a legend (duh) not just in Seattle, but everywhere.  If you never got a chance to see him back in the day there’s no better place to see him than Clearwater Casino.  The Beach Rock Music & Sports Lounge is a sexy, intimate venue.  No better way to spend a #ThrowbackThursday.

Macklemore @ Washington State Fair – September 1st

Professor Macklemore AND sweet, fluffy, delicious, buttery Fisher Scones???  Need I say more?

Jay Z and Beyoncé @ CenturyLink Field – October 4th

I’ve seen Jay 4 times and Bey twice.  If you’ve never seen them, you have to.  If you’re a hip hop fan, seeing these two live has to be a bucket list item for you.  If you’ve seen them before it doesn’t matter.  They are two elite performers and always bring something new to the table with each tour.  I can’t wait to see what they have in store at On The Run II.
