Buying a brand new vehicle has always been tough for me.  Not financially.  I just overthink the whole process.  Do I want to get a car dripping in sex appeal?  Yes, yes and yes.  But then my dumb brain starts thinking dumb things like:

“Maybe you should get something you’re not that attached to in case some knucklehead dings up your door.  That’ll drive ya nuts!”

“What if you get in a fender bender?  Sure, insurance will probably cover most of the cost but this car is your baby.  You’ll cry like one.”

“What if it’s TOTALED in a wreck and you have to get a new one.  Will it even be possible to replace THIS car that you love so much.”

And the worst one of all…

“What if a hoodlum jacks this thing!?  Criminals will salivate at the thought of driving this sweet, sweet ride to pick up kilos of narcotics at the bad-guy store.”

So yeah, I usually get a very reasonable, functional ride for my needs.  Nothing too crazy, but enough features to get me excited for a road trip on a summer day.  Sun roof, blue tooth radio, a/c, good gas mileage and all that stuff I thought my parents were crazy for caring about when I was a kid.

I should probably get to the point of the blog now, yeah?  If you own one of these cars you’re gonna get robbed.  For sure.  Sorry.  Don’t hate me, hate Forbes.  The list of “the most frequently stolen used cars in 2018” comes from them.
