Seattle Storm Is One Win Away From The WNBA Finals

August 29, 2018

Tuesday night's game was off the hook! If you haven't been keeping up with the WNBA finals this year, well you might want to start! Not only is the Seattle Storm's forward Breanna Stewart the leagues MVP but this team is legit the best in the league! I might be biased because I'm from Seattle, but that makes it that much better to root for your home team especially when they are this good!

Stewart along with her teammates have manged to bring the Storm back to the top of the league. Sunday night in Game 1 of the WNBA semifinals the Seattle Storm took on a very tough Phoenix Mercury and ended up pulling out that 'W' with a final score of 91-87 which secured them a victory for Game 1.

Fast forward to Tuesday night's game, Game 2, where the Mercury exploded in the 4th quarter and took the game into OT! There was a lot of back and fourth throughout OT but in the last minute Jewell Loyd and Sue Bird of the Seattle Storm came in clutch making their free throws and winning the game with a 91-87 score again! What are the odds? Insane, I tell ya!

The Storm now leads the semifinals series 2-0 with Game 3 being played this Friday in Phoenix. If they pull off another win, then off to the WNBA Finals they go!
