In a surprise release back on Sunday night, soulful hip hop and R&B crooner Frank Ocean shared a brand new single.

The jazzy, free-flowing "Provider" follows a string of non-album singles released this year, including "Lens," Biking," and "Chanel."

On the heels of his critically acclaimed 2016 Blonde album, as well as his visual album Endless, Ocean has been slowly releasing a few songs here and there to keep fans' interest. However, it's still unclear if an entire new album is in the works.

During a festival appearance back in July, Ocean and actor Brad Pitt teamed up on an experimental performance art piece. This came after the actor told GQ that he had been listening to Ocean's music.

Ocean also showed off his MC skills during his most recent Beats 1 show, as he smoothly freestyled over "Rolls Royce Bitch" by 2 Chainz.
