He'll still need permission to travel anywhere

Rapper Kodak Black in court for probation hearing on April 26 in Florida

Rapper Kodak Black is a free man after completing a voluntary life skills course behind bars that made him eligible for early release.
Kodak was released Monday from Broward County Jail in Florida after serving served 97 days of a 364-day sentence for violating house arrest. At least one time, he violated house arrest to go to a strip club according to TMZ. But now he's now back on house arrest for another year. This means he'll need to request permission from his probation officer and the court if he wants to travel anywhere, even for work.

The Florida rapper took to Instagram Live moments after his release.

The life skills course Black took in prison covered domestic violence, parenting, financial management -- and, perhaps most importantly -- problem solving and self-control skills.
