  • June 29, 2019 (12 to 9 p.m.)
  • Spirit of Africa Festival offers music and dance onstage, craft and food vendors on the main floor, and films upstairs in the Armory at Seattle Center. Free.

  • Dragon Fest is a street fair of Japanese and Korean drumming, Chinese martial arts, Filipino folk dance, a Thai performance, and $3 Asian bites in the International District. Free.

Pride parade and festivals:

  • June 29 - 30, 2019
  • Saturday - PrideFest Capitol Hill has speakers, art, live music, and a march at noon. Free.
  • Sunday - The big Pride Parade (11 a.m.) begins at 4th & Union and ends near Seattle Center, site of Seattle PrideFest (12 to 8 p.m.), largest lesbian, gay, and transgender event in the Northwest. Free.
