Being from California I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't witnessed it for myself! Not even 3 hours in Washington and I got into a car accident in Tacoma! And no, it was not my fault.

Allstate released its annual America's Best Drivers Report, and out of the 200 largest cities, Seattle came in at 179. That's up from last year when Seattle came in at 181. The report is based on how many accidents there are in each city. Tacoma came in at 167, Bellevue at 157 and Portland at 190. The higher the rank, the worse the drivers.

According to this report the safest places to drive in America are Brownsville, Texas, Kansas City, Kansas, and Boise, Idaho.

My hometown Sacramento, CA ranks in at 149 and Elk Grove, CA a suburb of Sacramento came in at 81. I'm a little surprised we weren't higher!
