I have been donating my hair for about 10 years now to organizations that help people with hair loss due to medical problems. My friends mom gave me the idea years ago because I had (still have) "virgin" (never dyed) hair.

This year I chose to send my locks to Wigs For Kids. It’s a great organization that help children who have suffered from hair loss due to chemo, radiation, Alopecia, burns and other sorts of medical issues.

HUGE thanks to @heidinaomi_ at #UltaBeauty for my new hairdo! ---- ♀️ This time around I donated it to @wigs.for.kids! It’s a great organization that help children who have suffered from hair loss due to chemo, radiation, alopecia, burns and other sorts of medical issues. If you didn’t know, I have been donating my hair for 10 years now. I grow it out as long as I can and then chop it off. This year I cut off a total of 14 inches of "virgin" (never dyed) hair. I am very fortunate to be living a healthy and blessed life and this is a small way of sharing it with others. I encourage anyone that is able to donate to do so. I mean you’re cutting it anyway, might as well put it to good use! After all I really do “Love da kids.” #BreLoveDaKids #NewHairWhoDis #WigsForKids

This year I donated 14 inches, which is the longest I have donated ever, and it only took me about 1 year and a half to grow.

I am very fortunate to be living a healthy and blessed life and this is a small way of sharing it with others. I encourage anyone that is able to donate to do so. Even if you can't donate the hair, financial donations are also welcomed. You can get more info HERE!
