Just last year Jay Z was among many that were boycotting the NFL over the treatment of Colin Kaepernick and now this year he is partnering with them! A lot can change in a year!

It was reported that Roc Nation and Jay Z will be the leagues new 'live music entertainment strategist.' This will give him the power to pick entertainment for the Super Bowl half time show as well as other things. He is also said to be contributing to the leagues activism campaign, Inspire change.

Jay Z said in an interview, "The NFL has a great big platform, and it has to be all-inclusive. They were willing to do some things, to make some changes, that we can do some good."

I wonder what changed his mind to partner with them officially but it will be interesting to see how Hova will change the league when it comes to the activism and protesting. Since they have done such a poor job with it in the past.

An official statement is supposed to be released today (Wednesday).
