Black art celebration:

  • Celebrate Black History Month at Through the Eyes of Art, which offers comedy, spoken word, visual art, and access to galleries in the Museum of Pop Culture.

  • February 21, 2020 (6 to 8 p.m.)
  • “Celebrate the richness of African-American culture, achievements, and contributions” at Black History Celebration with spoken word, dancing, singing, painting, and dinner at People’s Community Center. Free.

Seattle Home Show:

  • February 21 - 23, 2020
  • Seattle Home Show has exhibits about building, remodeling, decorating, and landscaping homes, at CenturyLink Field Event Center. Held in Feb. & Oct.

Frozen: The musical:

  • February 21 - March 1, 2020
  • Based on the film, but with additional new songs, special effects, and spectacular costumes, Frozen tells the story of two sisters pulled apart by a mysterious secret, and the epic adventure that brings them back together at The Paramount Theatre for age 8+.

Beer at Alki:

  • February 22, 2020 (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
  • Alki Winter Beer Festival has samples of craft beer, music, and food vendors in a tent at the Alki Beachhouse in West Seattle. At 1 p.m., watch 500 people who raised $50 for charity take a Polar Plunge.

  • February 23, 2020 (noon)
  • The “tiny” Petit Troll Parade is a flash-mob-style procession of mini-glittery floats pulled through the Fremont Sunday Market. Free.
