Reports broke Friday that actress Felicity Huffman was sentenced to 14 days in prison on Friday for paying $15,000 to have her daughter's SAT test illegally corrected so she could get into college.

She was also fined $30,000 and will receive supervised release for one year and 250 hours of community service.

Felicity told the court, "One of the hardest things I've had to face after my arrest is when my daughter found out what I had done and she said to me, 'I don't know who you are anymore, Mom.' And then she broke down and asked, 'Why didn't you believe in me? Why didn't you think I could do it on my own?' I had no adequate answer for her then. I have no adequate answer for her now. I can only say, I am so sorry, Sophia. I was frightened, I was stupid, and I was so wrong."

The NY Daily News says Felicity wants to serve her two-week sentence at a minimum security prison in Northern California. She also wants to be able to see her family.

No word on Lori Loughlin's situation in this college admissions scandal.
