After much speculation, Beyonce has confirmed that her pregnancy will prevent her from performing at the Coachella music festival in April.

Less than two weeks after performing at the 2017 GRAMMY Awards, the singer has announced that she will be canceling her headlining performance at Coachella 2017 because of doctor's orders related to her pregnancy. The event's producers say, however, Beyonce will be a headliner at the 2018 festival.

It is not clear when Queen Bey is actually due to give birth to her twins, but she did perform at the GRAMMY Awards earlier this month. However, for that performance, the singer was mostly seated in a chair on the stage.

Coachella is scheduled to take place in California in the middle of April. A search for a replacement act at Coachella 2017 is already underway, according to the festival's producers.
